Sucking foals get 20 ml/day within the first two months of life, afterwards 40 ml/day
The ration for medium sized and smaller horse breeds has to be adapted to their expected end weight and has to be given with the feeding or directly into the mouth with a mouth syringe.
Because of its higher content of vitamin D3 and trace elements compared to complete food this supplementary feed should not make up more than 2 % of the horse’s daily intake.
